Saint Patricks Parade Association of Lackawanna County
If you like to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, or simply like to celebrate, Scranton, PA is the best place to celebrate in mid March. Since 1962 the St. Patrick’s Parade Association of Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania conducts the nationally acclaimed parade the weekend before the blessed feast day. And Toyota of Scranton had actively participated the last five years. Employees work hard on decorating vehicles and “getting their Irish on” to celebrate in the Electric City.
The parade shows off musical group like bag pipers, high school bands and even string bands. Enjoy community floats and marchers to show off their musical and artistic talent as one of the 12,000 (and growing) participants.
We are the second largest St. Patrick’s parade in the country, as measured by participants per population of the city in which it’s held. Savannah, GA is first, Scranton, PA. and New York City was third.
